– How did your team’s story begin?

MOXXXYY: At first, I was without a team, then the SRG guys invited me to play a tournament. After we played together a few more times, they decided to bring me into their roster. We joined BIGPLAY because we had known about the platform for a while and, like many others, wanted to try our hand at the tournaments.

– Is there a team you always enjoy playing against, regardless of the result?

MOXXXYY: Honestly, there isn’t a specific team like that. For me, it’s more interesting to face strong opponents in general. Playing against them gives you real excitement and shows you your actual level. Even if you lose, it’s still a great experience and a chance to grow.

– Which tournament was the most memorable for you and why?

MOXXXYY: We haven’t been playing together for long, but recently we managed to reach the PMSO finals. We didn’t perform well there, though — we registered literally the day before the deadline and picked up our fourth player at the last moment. Three of our guys had never played tournaments before, so we had almost no experience.

– Is your team more about casual gaming, or are you aiming for something bigger in the future? MOXXXYY: Right now, we treat it more as casual gaming, since not everyone is interested in going deep into the pro scene and spending so much time on it. But things may change in the future — maybe some of the guys will want to push further and reach a higher level.

– Do you train before tournaments or just play freely?

MOXXXYY: At the moment, we mostly play for ourselves — just warming up and queuing games. We don’t have structured team practices.

– Is there any player in the community you’d never want to team up with?

MOXXXYY: I wouldn’t want to play in the same team as the 27 GX roster. Their playstyle just doesn’t suit me at all.

– If not everyone in the team is interested in tournaments or the pro-level, how long do you think your team will last? MOXXXYY: Hard to say. It all depends on the players themselves: some are fine just playing for fun, while others might want to go further and try more serious teams. If the opportunity arises, they can easily move on.

– Who is responsible for motivation, calls, and fun in your team?

MOXXXYY: I handle the calls, and MANNEQUIN takes care of the fun and atmosphere. He’s also the one keeping us motivated: after a good tournament, we have a tradition to go eat pepperoni pizza together. It’s become a small ritual for us.

– Whose skill would you like to inherit?

MOXXXYY: I’d like to inherit the skill of Chopp. He’s a very talented and promising young player with his own style and a big future.

– Do you have a lucky map or spot?

MOXXXYY: If we talk about a lucky map, it’s probably Rondo. We feel the most comfortable there. As for the spot, we don’t really have a fixed one — we just drop wherever.
