Results of the amateur international tournament CENTRAL ASIA PLAY-IN

From March 13 to 22, 2025, the PUBG Mobile Central Asia Play-in 2025 tournament took place, giving teams from Central Asia the opportunity to qualify for the 2025 PMSL CSA Spring season. The tournament was organized by KRAFTON, Level Infinite, and ESN eSports Network, with sponsorship support from Mountain Dew and Unitel.

A total of 32 teams from different countries in the region participated in the competition. The highest number of participants came from Mongolia—63 players (49% of the total), followed by Russia with 43 players (33%). Other represented countries included Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Belarus, and Germany.

By the end of all matchdays, the tournament broadcasts had accumulated over 500,000 views, which is a solid result for an amateur tournament but still lags significantly behind BGMI in the Indian region.

The PUBG Mobile Central Asia Play-in 2025 tournament highlighted the growing interest in esports in Central Asia and provided local teams with a platform to showcase their skills on the international stage. It marked a significant step in the development of new CIS teams. The top four teams from the grand finals qualified for the LAN stage of the seasonal PMSL CSA tournament.

The Mongolian roster once again proved its dominance both in its home region and on the CIS stage. Despite a series of roster changes, the first tournament for 4MV was an easy run with a confident lead.

However, CIS teams were not left behind. The team DAGESTAN77, which transitioned from the European region, managed to impose its playstyle in the grand final and secure second place, guaranteeing itself a spot in the first season of PMSL CSA Spring.

Earlier, the 15-year-old talent VOSTON joined the roster.

Moreover, the newly formed mix PUPPY PATROL (EUGENE, OBALDUY, RAIKAGE, NCSSRY, ASTIK) delivered an impressive performance. The team secured third place, surpassing experienced teams like IHC, MAJOR PRIDE, and RUKH ESPORTS in the tournament standings.

Young teams

This tournament was also a success for young and inexperienced teams such as MOAX TEAM, TEAM TGM, NOVA7, TOP TEAM, and SEVEN UPZ. These teams made their way from the qualifiers to the grand finals, showcasing strong performances on the first day. However, due to a lack of experience and professional approach, the second day was less productive for them in terms of scoring crucial points.
