Oneshot pauses his professional career in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang?
Alexander “Oneshot” Sharkov has officially left the Team Spirit MLBB roster. For the team, this marks the end of an important chapter, as the player spent more than a year and a half under the organization’s tag and became part of the period in which Spirit made a strong statement on the international stage.
During this time, the team competed in the biggest tournaments and achieved notable international results. A particularly successful event for Spirit was the M6 World Championship, where the squad delivered one of the best performances in its history, confidently reaching the playoffs and securing a spot among the tournament’s strongest teams. At the following world championship, the M7 World Championship, Team Spirit once again advanced to the playoffs and finished in 5th–6th place, confirming its status as a consistent contender on the global Mobile Legends: Bang Bang scene. These performances solidified the team’s reputation as a competitive representative of the region and became an important part of Oneshot’s time with the roster.
After announcing his departure, Alexander подробно explained the reasons behind his decision. According to him, it was not related to conflicts or internal issues within the team, but rather accumulated fatigue from the professional schedule. “I decided to leave because I got tired… most likely from long bootcamps, flights, and simply not being able to find comfort in foreign countries to stay there for a long time,” Oneshot wrote. He also noted that in recent months he often fell ill due to constant travel, which became one of the factors pushing him to take a break.
At the same time, Oneshot is not ending his career. He emphasized that he is not ready to retire permanently and may return to the scene after some rest. “I’m not saying that I’m going to quit playing forever… maybe I’ll join some team in the future after resting, if I feel like it,” Alexander added.
The player also spoke warmly about Team Spirit, thanking the organization for its professionalism and support. “Team Spirit was the best organization in my career… huge thanks for the care, I wish them only the best in the future,” he said, stressing that the separation happened calmly and on good terms.
In turn, Team Spirit thanked Alexander for his contribution to the roster’s development and their shared journey, which included important victories and international appearances. Now the team enters a new stage, while fans will follow Oneshot’s future and await his possible return to professional MLBB. Who will replace Team Spirit’s jungler remains unknown. We’re waiting for an official announcement from the organization and wish them new victories!
