I’ll help the guy realize that he won’t make it to an official tournament anymore" – CLYDE about a community opponent
– How did you meet and start playing in BIGPLAY tournaments?
BLAGO: We saw the announcements for the first tournaments. We really liked the series format — it was something unusual, cool, and it happened every week.
– Is there a team that’s especially important for you to play against and beat?
CLYDE: There aren’t any particular teams we feel the need to face. Our main goal is to defeat pro-level players. Also, there are squads we contest for spots with, and in those situations, you never want to lose.
– Do you ever have arguments about calls or disagreements? How do you resolve them?
BLAGO: In general, the team always listens to the captain, but sometimes we suggest our own ideas. Some decisions don’t work out well, but when we review, we try to eliminate those mistakes so they don’t happen again.
– Are there any individual players you’d like to knock with a mortar?
CLYDE: The only one that comes to mind is BEAVIS — I’ll help him understand that he won’t make it to an official tournament anymore, and it’s time to tone down his ambitions.
BLAGO: I get really annoyed by a player named SHARLEY. I don’t know why, but his presence in the lobby just gets on my nerves.
– If PUBG Mobile disappeared tomorrow, what would you play?
CLYDE: I really love Tetris and Minesweeper — I’d spend all my free time there.
BLAGO: I’d switch to Clash Royale and Durak Online.
– What keeps you motivated to keep playing, even after losses?
CLYDE: As Jason Statham once said, if you spend 10,000 hours stubbornly doing nonsense, in the end, you’ll reach a phenomenal level in it.
– What role does BIGPLAY play for your team?
CLYDE: BigPlay gives us the chance to practice against pro teams, motivates us with a solid prize pool, and the commentary is consistently on a high level.
– Is it difficult to balance IRL life and tournaments?
BLAGO: I come home from work, go to sleep, and wake up right before the tournament starts. At first it was super easy, now not so much…
CLYDE: For me, not at all. Classes and work are done in the first half of the day, then I have time to warm up and play two sessions, and afterward I can even hit the gym and relax.
– How do you feel about the update and the promised graphics with verticality?
CLYDE: The new graphics didn’t impress me, and the shooting changes I don’t even want to comment on. I’d prefer recoil closer to real life — then players would spend more time training, and you could really say about someone: “Wow, he’s actually a great shot.”
– Anything you’d like to add?
BLAGO: Love women, play PUBG, and drink beer!
